The Raleigh Historic Districts Committee has created a set of Design Guidelines to be followed by anyone building a new home on a purchased homesite in Blount Street Commons. These guidelines serve to protect and enhance the character of the community. Any exterior changes to one of the historic homes within Blount Street Commons must receive a Certificate of Appropriateness from the commission before beginning the construction process.
